


ArmInfo. Representatives of the Investigative Committee of Armenia took part in specialized courses on combating cybercrime organized by the Ministry of Public Security of China in Shanghai. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
The agency reported that the heads of the Investigative Committee's territorial divisions completed training as part of the "Combating Cybercrime for Armenia" program. During the course, the Armenian delegation was presented with Chinese experience and results in combating cybercrime, combating terrorist financing and money laundering, as well as modern technologies and methodology for investigating electronic data.
As noted by the Investigative Committee, the program participants are directly involved in investigating reports of cybercrime and other offenses committed using information technology.
The knowledge and practical experience gained in China are expected to contribute to the improvement of their professional qualifications and the efficiency of their respective units.
