


ArmInfo. Armenian students have secured bronze medals at the 59th International Chemistry Olympiad, held this year in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, the competition featured a total of 372 students from 93 countries, with each nation permitted to enter a maximum of four participants.
The Armenian team concluded the Olympiad with two bronze medals and one honorable mention. The competition comprised both practical and theoretical phases. The Armenian delegation was led by Andranik Davinyan, a research fellow at the Scientific and Technological Center of Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Armen Galstyan, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry at Yerevan State University.
According to the source, at the 57th International Chemistry Olympiad in Dubai (UAE), the Armenian team won one silver medal and three honorable mentions.
