Artsakh Parliament expressed condolences over death of ex-head of  Hadrut administration

ArmInfo.  Acting Speaker of the Artsakh National Assembly Gagik Baghunts expressed condolences over the death of former head of the Hadrut administration, statesman  Valery Gevorgyan.

According to the Artsakh parliament's press service, Baghunts noted  that Gevorgyan's many years of work, aimed at the benefit of Hadrut  and Artsakh, deserve respect and gratitude. "With his responsible  work and dedication, he served the Motherland and the people, leaving  a significant mark. Valeri Gevorkyan passed away, carrying in his  heart a longing for his native Hadrut and an unwavering faith in his  return. On behalf of the Artsakh authorities and myself personally,  we express our deepest condolences and words of support to the  family, relatives, friends, and all those who knew and cherished  Gevorkyan. We share your grievous loss and wish you spiritual  fortitude and patience in these difficult days. Blessed memory,"  noted the Acting Speaker of the NKR Parliament.

As a reminder, on October 6, 2017, by decision of the third President  of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan (currently in Azerbaijani captivity - ed.),  Valeri Gevorkyan was relieved of his post as head of the Hadrut  district administration due to a transfer to another position.
