More violations in construction sector recorded in Yerevan

ArmInfo.  As a result of urban development inspections conducted over the past week, 85 reports related to illegal construction and the unauthorized seizure of land  were drawn up. Compared to the previous reporting period, this number  has increased by 26. This was reported to Yerevan Mayor Tigran  Avinyan during a working meeting of the Mayor's Office on July 20.

Fifteen reports were drawn up for violations of approved land use  regulations, three more than in the previous reporting period. Eighty  reports were issued for non-compliance with established requirements  at construction sites, nine of which concerned the absence of air  pollution measuring devices, and 33 for the absence of dust  suppression devices. Compared to the previous reporting period, the  number of such reports increased by 52.

Over the past week, four cases of construction without an operating  permit were identified, three fewer than in the previous reporting  period.

A total of 58 illegal structures, kiosks, and garages were  dismantled, 26 more than in the previous reporting period.

In this regard, the mayor noted that the current pace of work must be  maintained. "Until we see that all established requirements are being  met at construction sites and dust suppression devices are widely  available, we cannot relax this pace. Everyone must adhere to the new  rules of the game," Avinyan emphasized.
