


ArmInfo.An Iranian Literature Corner has opened in the reading room of the National Library of Armenia.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MOESCS), the Embassy of Iran donated 293 publications to the National Library of Armenia, including dictionaries, collections of scientific papers, textbooks, religious literature, poetry collections, works of contemporary fiction, and other publications, which have expanded the library's collection of Iranian literature.
During the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Alfred Kocharyan noted that this initiative will provide wider access to Iranian literature and culture in Armenia, contributing to the development of Iranian studies. According to Anna Chulyan, Director of the National Library of Armenia, the library highly values the existing effective cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on mutual trust, cultural dialogue, and a long-term partnership.
Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami also emphasized the importance of establishing an Iranian literature corner at the National Library of Armenia, expressing his confidence that the cooperation between the two sides will be of a long-term nature.
