ArmInfo. The seizure of horses and pheasants from the mansion of Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party and businessman who is under arrest, has been postponed for unknown reasons. This was stated by Hovhannes Vardanyan, one of Tsarukyan's lawyers, in a conversation with journalists outside the businessman's home on July 14.

"The seizure was supposed to take place today, but for reasons unknown to us, it hasn't happened yet, and we don't know why," the lawyer noted.
Vardanyan reported that the defense has filed an appeal against the investigator's ruling in accordance with the established procedure. He stated that horses and pheasants are domestic animals and cannot be considered the subject of criminal proceedings.
As a reminder, on July 6, 2026, law enforcement officers conducted large-scale searches of Tsarukyan's mansion and more than 70 other addresses, including companies within the Multi Group concern, as part of the investigation of over ten criminal cases.
After nearly 12 hours of investigative actions, Tsarukyan was detained. Tsarukyan denies his guilt, and his lawyers call the prosecution politically motivated and are challenging the decisions of the investigation and the court. On the same day, Tsarukyan was charged with illegally hunting wild animals. Wild animals were seized from the businessman as part of the case. One of Tsarukyan's lions failed to awaken after being anesthetized for transport to the Yerevan Zoo.
