UK Parliament raises the killings of elderly people in Artsakh by  Azerbaijan

ArmInfo.During a Westminster Hall debate on the impact of conflicts on older people, Shadow Minister  Andrew Snowden MP raised the killings of elderly  Armenians in Nagorno Karabakh during the 2020 war, as reported by the Armenian National Committee of the United Kingdom.

" During a Westminster Hall debate on the impact of conflicts on  older people, Shadow Minister  Andrew Snowden MP raised the killings  of elderly Armenians in Nagorno Karabakh during the 2020 war, as  reported by the Armenian National Committee of the United Kingdom.  Speaking in Parliament, he said: "In 2020, elderly Armenians who  stayed in Nagorno-Karabakh were subject to summary executions.  Indeed, older people made up more than half of all Armenian civilian  deaths," the ANC UK's statement reads.  It is noted that the remarks  were made during the debate "Conflicts: Impact on Older People", held  on 9 July 2026.
