Expert: Azerbaijan`s political leadership states  `occupation of  Armenia is their new national goal` 

ArmInfo.  Yesterday's statements by Aliyev's lawyer once again prove that this lawyer, who is also the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, is at a loss for words and  doesn't know what else to do to reach the heart of Azerbaijan.  Azerbaijan expert Tatevik Hayrapetyan writes about this on her  Facebook page.

According to her, this lawyer's rhetoric is inventing the most  primitive and absurd ideas, such as: "If we don't give it to them,  they won't give it to us." "If, in exchange for the little piece of  land you received from Azerbaijan, you receive a thousandfold  increase in appetite. Aliyev's lawyer stubbornly ignores the fact  that Azerbaijan's political leadership has explicitly stated that  'the occupation of Armenia is their new national goal.' He fails to  see that Azerbaijani state news agencies almost never use the word  'Armenia' when talking about Armenia; they've invented a new name for  themselves, one with aggressive ambitions, and they're using it. The  irony and absurdity lie in the fact that the term Aliyev coined, and  the map beneath it, is larger in scale than the map of Armenia  itself," the expert noted.

She urged people to open and read 80 articles from the Azerbaijani  state news agency for June, including statements by officials and  lawyers. "Although, no, don't read it. After this, perhaps you'll  start speaking out more actively in their defense, because, as I see,  Azerbaijani statements are more important to you; you're guided by  them. Your countless and endless promises to Aliyev must be closed,  especially at the expense of my country, my state, my national  dignity. You weren't given a vote in 2018, or in 2021, and especially  not in 2026, when you were forced to rig the elections to cling to  power. You have no right to distort Armenia according to the  Azerbaijani model, and you won't have one," wrote Tatevik  Hayrapetyan.
