He noted that the court granted the investigators' motion and remanded Tsarukyan in custody for two months. "This was no surprise to us; from the moment these unlawful actions began, we knew this would happen, since it is a result of public order," the lawyer stated.
He expressed concern over the judicial process, noting that the hearing lacked substantive inquiry from the court and that neither party had the opportunity to present meaningful arguments. "It appeared as though the decision had already been drafted; the hearing served merely as a formality to codify the ruling," he added.
