


ArmInfo. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the "Sacred Struggle" movement, has filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The lawsuit was published on the website of the judicial information system datalex.am.
In his lawsuit, the plaintiff notes that on June 11, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the following statement: "Civil Contract" received 100% of the organic votes, while other forces received votes with 100% bribes. "Without money, no one would have voted for them, absolutely no one." According to the plaintiff,
Nikol Pashinyan has thus slandered, tarnished his honor, dignity, and reputation, and demands that the court publicly refute the factual information defamatory of his honor, dignity, and reputation within five working days of the court's decision coming into force. The Archbishop demanded that Nikol Pashinyan pay him a nominal fee of 49.7 drams as compensation for the damages caused, as well as recover from Nikol Pashinyan the amount he had previously paid in state fees. The retraction must be published on the government's official website.
The lawsuit was filed. The case was filed in court on July 6 and transferred to Judge Marina Tashchyan of the Civil Court of First Instance. A decision on whether to hear the claim has not yet been made.
