


ArmInfo. Strong winds caused property damage in Yerevan and the Gegharkunik region of Armenia.
According to the press service of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, on July 3 at 9:53 PM, the 112 operations center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received reports of strong winds, particularly in Yerevan and the village of Tsovak in the Gegharkunik region.
"The wind damaged load-bearing elements of buildings, weakened roofing materials, felled trees, bent utility poles, downed power lines, and blocked roads," the ministry reported.
It is noted that rescuers responded promptly to all incidents: fallen trees were cut down and removed, torn load-bearing elements were dismantled, the area was marked, and other necessary work was carried out on site.
