
ArmInfo.Ahead of the 10th International Francophonie Sports and Cultural Games, which will be held in Armenia in 2027, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MESC) and the magazine "Le Courrier d'Erevan."
The ministry's press service told ArmInfo that the memorandum was signed by Zhanna Andreasyan, head of the MESCS, and Zara Nazaryan, director of the Francomedia public organization. It envisages coverage in the French-language press of the following areas: cultural and educational ties, as well as international cooperation between Armenia and Francophone countries, the 2027 International Francophonie Games in Armenia, including their preparatory phase, Armenia's strategic cultural and educational policies, and the implementation of joint projects.
"The Francomedie platform www.courrier.am (which owns the website of Le Courrier d'Erevan magazine - ed.) will cover the Ministry's cultural and educational programs, Francophonie events, and the International Francophonie Games. Young journalists will be involved in this work, which will contribute to the development of French-language journalism in Armenia," the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture reported.
Furthermore, according to the source, new technological and methodological solutions will be introduced, making the www.courrier.am platform a key cultural and educational resource with new video and audio content.
"The use of advanced technologies is expected to increase the visibility and accessibility of the www.courrier.am platform, facilitate dialogue between Armenia and French-speaking countries, and promote Armenia and Armenian culture," the Ministry concluded.
