


ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran on July 3.
According to the government's press service, the Prime Minister once again expressed his condolences over the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, emphasizing that Armenia shares the grief of the Iranian people.
President Pezeshkian thanked Nikol Pashinyan for coming to Tehran to attend the official farewell ceremony for Ali Khamenei. He noted that Iran highly values the Armenian government's position toward Iran in this difficult situation and the humanitarian aid it has provided.
The Iranian President congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections and expressed confidence that bilateral relations will continue to steadily develop and strengthen.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on regional issues, emphasizing the importance of consistent steps aimed at strengthening peace, stability, and regional cooperation.
