ArmInfo. Early in the morning of July 3, officers from the Investigative Committee of Armenia conducted a search of the apartment of Yervand Bozoyan, a political scientist and board member of the Mother Armenia party. The Mother Armenia party reported this on its Facebook page.
According to the report, following the investigation, Bozoyan was summoned for questioning by the investigative department of the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts. The party did not provide any further details about the reasons for the search at the time of publication.
Yervand Bozoyan is an Armenian political scientist, public figure, and board member of the opposition Mother Armenia party. He regularly criticizes the policies of the current Armenian authorities. In recent weeks, law enforcement agencies have carried out a series of actions against opposition representatives, including searches, detentions, and summonses for questioning. The authorities, for their part, claim that all criminal proceedings are carried out strictly within the law.
