
ArmInfo.Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan received US Charge d'Affaires in Armenia David Allen on the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence, as reported by the press service of the Armenian president.
It is noted that Khachaturyan congratulated Allen on the national holiday, noting that Armenia highly values the partnership with the US, which has consistently expanded in recent years and covers a wide range of areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues on the Armenian-American agenda and noted the dynamic development of bilateral cooperation based on democratic values, mutual trust, and long-term partnership. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint programs aimed at Armenia's economic development, strengthening state institutions, and advancing reforms.
The interlocutors specifically focused on the TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) program, emphasizing its importance for modernizing Armenia's infrastructure, developing the investment environment, and deepening economic ties.
Discussing the regional situation, the Armenian President highlighted the important role of the United States in promoting stability and long-term peace in the South Caucasus. In this context, the significance of the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, 2025, was emphasized as a foundation for strengthening regional peace and cooperation.
The parties reaffirmed their readiness to further expand cooperation in high technology, energy, economics, education, innovation, and other areas of mutual interest.
