


ArmInfo.On June 30, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the ambassadors of the European Union member states accredited in Armenia. As reported by the government's press service, the meeting was also attended by the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos.
The EU Ambassador congratulated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the results of the national parliamentary elections held in Armenia on June 7, 2026. The European Union expressed its readiness to continue close cooperation with Armenia in support of strengthening democratic values, stability, and development.
Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked the EU and its member states for their positive assessments and congratulations regarding the elections. He underscored the importance of the European Union's support for democratic processes in Armenia and the advancement of the country's reform agenda.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the Armenia-EU cooperation program. They exchanged views on matters concerning reforms, the strengthening of the rule of law, economic cooperation, infrastructure development, energy sustainability, and issues related to regional stability and peace.
The parties also discussed steps aimed at further deepening the partnership between Armenia and the EU. The importance of continuing high-level political dialogue and expanding cooperation in all areas of mutual interest was emphasized.
