ArmInfo. Hayk Konjoryan and Vahagn Aleksanyan have been elected as candidates for Deputy Speakers of the National Assembly of Armenia. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this on his Facebook page.
The ruling Civil Contract party held a board meeting yesterday, where the corresponding decision was made. The selection of candidates for Deputy Speakers of the 9th convocation of the Armenian Parliament was based on an internal party vote among board members.
As a reminder, current NA Vice Speaker Ruben Rubinyan was previously elected as a candidate for NA Speaker following the same procedure.
