ArmInfo. On 29 June, Arnak Avetisyan, RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, received Konstantin Sokulskiy, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Armenia.
The meeting focused on reviewing the outcomes and discussing the results of the "Project for Supporting Basic Infrastructure and Social Integration for Displaced Persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and Host Communities."
Over the two-year implementation period, the project delivered significant results across Armenia's communities, including the construction of 10 shelters, the renovation of 10 rural ambulatories, the installation of 74 solar power stations, and the construction of water reservoirs in the communities of Chambarak and Goris.
The Deputy Minister highlighted the importance of UNDP's projects and their contribution—through both ongoing and planned initiatives—to strengthening Armenia's communities, advancing decentralization, and promoting social development.
