Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan, and Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Yeghiazar Vardanyan, inspected the progress of the Kyivyan Bridge capital renovation project., as reported by the RA Government Press Office.
Project officials reported that current works include the restoration of the bridge's roadway and pedestrian zones, the replacement of expansion joints and drainage systems, and the installation of waterproofing. Additionally, the bridge's spans and supports are being rehabilitated. It was also noted that bridge railings will be replaced and exterior lighting lines will be installed underground.
A total of 456 million drams has been allocated from the municipal budget for the project. Plans are in place to complete work on the bridge's roadway by August 29.
