ArmInfo. The Constitutional Court of Armenia has concluded its first session regarding the petitions filed by opposition forces seeking to invalidate the results of the June 7 parliamentary elections. The court is scheduled to reconvene tomorrow, June 27, at 11:00 a.m.
Tensions were evident outside the courthouse as the Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Vahagn Hovakimyan, departed the premises. As he exited, he was met with chants of "Shame!" from the gathered crowd. The protesters continued to shout until Mr. Hovakimyan departed the area, escorted by police officers.
