ArmInfo. Mane Tandilyan, co-founder of the "Country to Live" party, has stated on her Facebook page that at least half of Armenian society has harbored and will continue to harbor deep concerns regarding the recent election results.
According to Tandilyan, seven political forces that participated in the National Assembly elections, collectively receiving 43.5% of the vote, have appealed to the Constitutional Court. Furthermore, at least four other groups that did not file appeals, representing an additional 2.5% of the vote, have publicly questioned the legitimacy of the results.
"This means that the majority of the forces participating in the elections, despite numerous contradictions between them, have come to the same conclusion: the published results do not reflect the true will of the voters. Regardless of the decisions of the Constitutional Court, one fact is undeniable: at least half of society has been and will continue to be deeply concerned about the election results," Mane Tandilyan noted.
She added that all of this has caused a crisis of confidence. In fact, the government of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has joined the ranks of previous authorities whose legitimacy was deeply doubted by the public. "In the near future, the issues surrounding Nikol Pashinyan's legitimacy will intensify, which will create new challenges for both Armenia and the Armenian people," the co-founder of the "Country to Live" party concluded.
