


ArmInfo. The second session of consultations on security and defence issues between Armenia and the European Union took place in Brussels.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the consultations covered a wide range of issues related to expanding and deepening cooperation between Armenia and the EU in the field of security and defence.
In particular, the parties addressed reforms in Armenia’s security sector, ongoing cooperation under the European Peace Facility, the activities of the EU mission in Armenia, prospects for establishing cooperation between the relevant Armenian educational institutions and the European Security and Defence College, as well as other matters of mutual interest.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on cooperation between Armenia and the EU in countering hybrid threats, with particular attention to building the capacity of the relevant structures in Armenia. The session also touched on current issues of regional security.
