ArmInfo. We will take all possible steps to prevent any attempts to continue the Karabakh movement, including because the people of Armenia voted for such a vision. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on June 25, commenting on the rhetoric coming from Baku regarding "Western Azerbaijan" and the "resettlement of 300,000 Azerbaijanis."
According to him, as long as statements about continuing the Karabakh movement are heard in Armenia, similar rhetoric will also be heard in Azerbaijan. "These are mutually conditioning factors," the head of government said, adding that such statements will not be implemented as long as his team is in power.
Referring to statements by representatives of the "Armenia" bloc that the republic should not be limited to a territory of 29,400 square kilometers, Km, Pashinyan asked: "What should we do then?" The Prime Minister stated that the people of Armenia expressed their will by voting to end the Karabakh movement. "Any attempt to continue this movement at other levels will inevitably provoke a mirror reaction," he emphasized. According to Pashinyan, Armenia and Azerbaijan must leave each other alone. "And this means not continuing the Karabakh movement in Armenia, and not taking any actions based on the same logic in Azerbaijan," the Prime Minister concluded.
