ArmInfo. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev noted a rise in hostile sentiments toward Russia in several post-Soviet states. This was reported by Russian media.
"In 2014, Ukraine became a hotbed of Russophobia. Unfortunately, the same is now happening in Moldova and, alas, even in Armenia," the politician noted during his speech at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
Earlier, Medvedev noted that the current course of the Armenian leadership, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, is a particularly alarming signal. According to the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, the head of the Armenian Cabinet is deliberately leading his country down the path already trodden by the Kyiv regime.
The politician recalled that, while in power, the Armenian prime minister failed to properly appreciate the numerous examples of fraternal assistance and comprehensive support that Russia has consistently provided to the Armenian people.
