


ArmInfo. One person died and 11 were hospitalized as a result of a major road accident in Armenia. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the source, the accident report was received on June 22 at 6:15 AM local time. Police and rescuers who arrived at the scene discovered that a Ford passenger minibus and a ZIL truck had collided near the village of Arteni in the Aragatsotn region.
Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health, 11 people were hospitalized as a result of the accident.
Three of them are in critical condition. Doctors are treating five others in serious condition, and three in mild condition. All victims are receiving necessary medical care at regional medical centers.
The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation into this incident.
