ArmInfo. A 0.08-hectare land plot has been returned to the Sisian community. This was reported by the press service of the RA Prosecutor General's Office.
According to the source, the Prosecutor's Office, as part of its authority to protect state (community) interests, reviewed documents regarding the allocation of land plots located in the "28 May" Park in the city of Sisian, Syunik Province, to various individuals.
The inspection revealed that the land plot was allocated to an individual with construction rights in violation of legal requirements. The Prosecutor's Office submitted a petition to the head of the Sisian community requesting measures to terminate the construction right agreement concluded between the Sisian community and the developer on April 30, 2011. Based on the petition, and following measures taken by the competent municipal authorities, the Cadastre Committee terminated the registered construction right on the 0.08-hectare land plot with an approximate market value of 1,502,000 drams on June 19, 2026.
The land plot was returned to the ownership of the Sisian community.
