


ArmInfo.The Investigative Committee of Armenia presented the reasons for the detention of former National Assembly member Rubenk Hakobyan.
During the criminal investigation, factual evidence was obtained indicating that the former RA NA member, using information and communication technologies, made statements aimed at inciting and spreading hatred, discrimination, intolerance, and hostility, which was confirmed by an expert opinion.
By the decision of the supervising prosecutor, the case against R.A. A public criminal case has been opened under Article 329, Part 2, Clause 3 of the Criminal Code (public statements aimed at inciting or spreading hatred, discrimination, or intolerance (three counts).
The former deputy has been detained, and a petition has been filed with the court to place him under administrative supervision as a preventive measure.
The preliminary investigation into this criminal case is ongoing.
