Ameriabank has Completed Placement of USD 100M Perpetual Bonds

ArmInfo. Ameriabank has fully placed its first-ever perpetual bonds in total amount of USD 100 million. The bonds were issued in two tranches, in February and April. In both issuances, the entire volume was subscribed before the planned deadline, demonstrating strong demand for the securities.

Through the issuance of perpetual bonds, Ameriabank is creating additional capital buffers to capitalize on future growth opportunities and achieve its strategic objectives. Notably, the first tranche of perpetual bonds was placed with a coupon rate of 8.5%, while the second tranche was placed at 8%, reflecting the exceptionally high demand for the bonds.

By enhancing our capital adequacy ratios, this transaction provides additional headroom to pursue our growth ambitions and reinforce our role as the largest lender to the Armenian economy”, – stated Hovhannes Toroyan, CFO of Ameriabank.

The bonds can now be traded on the secondary market.

Ameriabank’s perpetual bond program prospectus was registered by Resolution 1/28Ա of the Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia, dated January 21, 2026.
