RA Prime Minister reviews preparatory work for COP-17

ArmInfo. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan visited the "Meridian" expo center to review the preparatory work for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-17), which will be held in Armenia this October.

According to the government's press service, Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan provided information on the ongoing construction work at the center, the facilities being developed, and the technical capabilities.

Nikol Pashinyan was briefed on the efforts to ensure the accessibility and adequacy of the infrastructure and services, as well as the setup of the necessary infrastructure required to host the conference.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of organizing and conducting COP-17 at a high level and gave relevant instructions on a number of issues.
