Armenian team wins 8 gold, 12 silver, and 7 bronze medals at  6th  International Applied Biology Olympiad

ArmInfo.  Armenian students won 8 gold, 12 silver, and 7 bronze medals at the 6th  International Applied Biology Olympiad (IABO).

According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science,  Culture, and Sports (MESCS), the Olympiad was held in Bali,  Indonesia. Students who successfully completed the two previous  stages, held online, earned the right to compete in the IABO finals.  The final competition featured 214 participants from seven countries:  Armenia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia, and Romania.  Armenia's delegation comprised 27 students representing seven  different educational institutions. According to the source, 21  students from 8 educational institutions represented Armenia in the  5th International Olympiad, which was held online. The Armenian team  won 5 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals.
