RA Anti-Corruption Committee proposes banning parties involved in bribery from participating in next elections

ArmInfo. Artur Nahapetyan, Chairman of the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, has appealed to RA Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan with a request to initiate legislative amendments aimed at ensuring the legality of electoral processes.

According to the agency's press service, the Committee has compiled a preliminary summary of data on investigations into election corruption cases uncovered in the period leading up to the 2026 National Assembly elections.

The mechanisms by which these crimes are committed and the circumstances that facilitate their commission were also identified. Specifically, this concerns banning the "Strong Armenia" and "Armenia" blocs, as well as the "Prosperous Armenia" party, from participating in the next elections.
