


ArmInfo.As part of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions, Armenia will host the annual "Eagle Partner-2026" military exercises from June 17 to June 25.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, the exercises will involve military personnel from the Peacekeeping Brigade of the Armenian Armed Forces (250 participants), the U.S. Army in Europe and Africa and the Kansas National Guard (58 participants), France (24 participants), and Greece (11 participants).
The exercises will practice and implement peacekeeping tasks. The primary objectives of the "Eagle Partner-2026" exercises are as follows: enhancing interoperability- Improving the level of interoperability among units participating in international peacekeeping operations; knowledge exchange- sharing best practices in command and control, as well as tactical communications and strengthening readiness- enhancing the combat readiness of the Armenian Armed Forces' peacekeeping unit.
The Armenian Ministry of Defense added that, in preparation for peacekeeping missions, units preparing for international peacekeeping operations regularly participate in similar exercises.
