


ArmInfo. The 33rd meeting of the Advisory Council of the Heads of Consular Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CIS Member States was held in Minsk under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan, with the Armenian delegation participating via videoconference.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the meeting was also attended by delegations from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, and Turkmenistan, as well as a representative of the CIS Executive Committee.
The Armenian side was represented by Artur Petrosyan, Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting agenda included matters concerning the implementation of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963, the Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters of 2002. Participants also discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation, the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, as well as the mutual recognition of electronic documents under the Chisinau Convention of October 7, 2018.
