ArmInfo. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the "Sacred Struggle" movement, has expressed deep dissatisfaction with the June 7 parliamentary election results. However, speaking to reporters today, he maintained that the outcome represents a step forward in the movement's ongoing "fight against the evil authorities."
"The election results are absolutely unacceptable to me," Galstanyan stated. "What happened unfolded right before our eyes: repressions, arrests, a thousand and one variations of charges, an unprecedented presence of foreign forces, and fraud. This is understandable because [the authorities] faced the threat of losing power, and losing a great deal along with it. However, despite all of this, I believe this was yet another step forward toward removing this evil administration.
