Pashinyan flags potential residency requirement, limiting voting  rights for Diaspora Armenians

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has indicated that the country may introduce a residency requirement for participating in elections. He made this statement  during a briefing on June 11.

The prime minister noted that there is a public demand for  legislative changes to establish a residency requirement, which   would regulate the right of Armenian citizens to vote. "And I believe  we must  respond to this public demand in some way," Pashinyan said.
