


ArmInfo. The ruling Civil Contract party received an overwhelming majority in the electronic voting abroad. Of the 410 voters who took part in the vote, 330 voted for the ruling party. The data was released by Vahagn Hovakimyan, head of the Central Election Commission of Armenia.
According to Hovakimyan, 13 people voted for the "Strong Armenia" bloc, 8 for the "Armenia" bloc, 5 for the "Against All" party, 13 for "Wings of Unity," 5 for the "Prosperous Armenia" party, 5 for the Meritocratic Party, 3 for the "New Force" party, and 1 for "Bright Armenia." Another 22 ballots were declared invalid. A total of 537 citizens were eligible to vote.
The Central Election Commission of Armenia noted that the electronic voting was open to employees of Armenia's diplomatic and consular missions, their family members living with them abroad and eligible to vote, as well as military personnel on long-term assignments or studying abroad, and their family members living with them outside Armenia. Voting took place from May 26 to 29.
