


ArmInfo.Voting in the regular parliamentary elections in Armenia concluded at 8:00 PM local time, with polling stations across the country closing.
Voter turnout in the regular parliamentary elections in Armenia as of 5:00 PM local time was 48.92%. By that time, 1,224,957 citizens had voted in the elections out of a total of 2,505,102 eligible voters.
As a reminder, the regular parliamentary elections were held in Armenia on June 7. 2,500 polling stations opened across the country at 8:00 AM local time. Most of them were equipped with surveillance cameras. Eighteen political forces - two blocs and 16 parties - participated in the elections. The favorites include incumbent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Contract party, businessman Samvel Karapetyan's Strong Armenia bloc, second president Robert Kocharyan's Armenia bloc, and businessman Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia party. From early morning, observers and journalists reported numerous violations during the voting process.
According to the Central Election Commission of Armenia, 647 international observers from the OSCE/ODIHR, the CIS, PACE, the International Organization of La Francophonie, and others monitored the parliamentary elections in Armenia. In addition, more than 2,600 observers from 13 local organizations also monitored the elections. Approximately 250 local and foreign media outlets were accredited to cover the elections.
