Incidents involving the unauthorized removal and smuggling of ballots into and out of polling stations have been recorded on June 7, the day of Armenia's parliamentary elections, as reported by the press service of the "Armenia" Alliance, led by the country's second president, Robert Kocharyan.
The political alliance warned that all such instances are being closely monitored by their proxies and legal teams. "The information received is being verified, documented, and transmitted to the competent authorities in accordance with established procedures. We remind all parties that any unlawful interference in the electoral process, including the illegal circulation of ballots, may constitute an administrative or criminal offense and is subject to liability under the law," the "Armenia" Alliance stated.
The alliance called on all citizens, election committee members, proxies, and observers to continue reporting such incidents to ensure the legality and transparency of the voting process. "The 'Armenia' Alliance is consistently monitoring the situation and urges citizens to exercise their right to vote freely and without hindrance. All those responsible must be held accountable in accordance with the law," the political force concluded.
