


ArmInfo. According to NA press service, on June 5, Hayk Mamijanyan, head of the "With Honor" faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, met with a delegation of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly observation mission.
Welcoming the guests, Mamijanyan expressed his gratitude for their visit and underscored the critical importance of the upcoming parliamentary elections for the country. He particularly highlighted the value of continued international attention on Armenia's electoral process.
Zhakip Asanov, Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Kazakhstan and coordinator of the CIS IPA observation group, noted that the delegation has arrived in Armenia at the invitation of National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan. Asanov outlined the primary scope, methodology, and objectives of the monitoring mission.
During the meeting, Mamijanyan shared his faction's observations and concerns regarding the current domestic political climate and the pre-election environment, while also addressing recent amendments made to the Electoral Code.
The faction leader answered the observers' questions regarding the ongoing campaign and the electoral process.
