ArmInfo. The Armenia bloc is ready to assume responsibility for the country's future, as stated by the second President of the Republic of Armenia and candidate for Prime Minister, Robert Kocharyan, during a meeting with voters.
" I will restore respect for Armenia and break the master-servant dynamic with Aliyev. The peace treaty with Azerbaijan will be signed with amendments that actually guarantee peace. Rest assured—this is entirely achievable, and we will accomplish it. We see Armenia as a modern industrial country, the most dynamically developing country in the region, with an advanced agriculture and financial system. We will once again become the region's most attractive destination for investment. We have been and will be again. We will not wage war against our own history, Mount Ararat, the Armenian Apostolic Church, or our national identity," the politician stated. As for national security and governance, Kocharyan promised to build a strong, stable country where citizens are shielded from security anxieties. He stated that defense should rest firmly on the shoulders of the authorities rather than individual citizens. "This will be a nation no longer forced to grapple with endless crises, and where civil servants are never coerced into executing illegal orders just to retain their positions," he noted. The former president highlighted his unique background, asserting that no other politician in Armenia possesses his level of combined experience in national security, governance, and large-scale corporate management. " I am fully prepared to dedicate my time and energy to our nation's success," he said. Kocharyan concluded that his professional team is fully equipped to guide the country out of its current state.
