ArmInfo. On June 5, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan received a delegation led by Philippe Courrard, head of the  Francophonie observation mission. The NA press service reported this.

According to the source, during the meeting, the parties discussed  the progress of the election campaign, as well as issues related to  the electoral process. Alen Simonyan stated that the Republic of  Armenia is determined to ensure the free, fair, and transparent  exercise of citizens' electoral rights and the holding of elections  in accordance with democratic principles.

As a reminder, regular parliamentary elections will be held in  Armenia on June 7. Eighteen political forces - 16 parties and two  blocs - have officially registered to participate.
