ArmInfo. Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader Gagik Tsarukyan responded to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's latest attacks against him during the election campaign.
It should be noted that during a pre-election rally in one of the country's communities, Pashinyan, referring to Tsarukyan's earlier remarks that "he will not lower anyone to the level of the Armenian prime minister," stated that "the issue is not that Tsarukyan cannot lower himself to my level, but that he is already lower than the floorboards, and his only option left is to sink straight into the ground."
In response, Tsarukyan questioned on May 22 what exactly he had done to warrant such a fate. "I want to ask the Prime Minister: for what action of mine should I sink into the ground? It is under your watch that we have dead and wounded; you are the one who surrendered territories and went on to thank Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev after so much blood was spilled. For eight years, you have deceived the Armenian people. Today, he is showing yet again that he intends to hand over territories and close roads. It is he who should sink so deep into the ground that he is never seen again," the PAP leader declared.
