ArmInfo.Only one person in our country can be connected to the FSB – and that person is Nikol Pashinyan, as stated by Samvel Karapetyan, candidate for Prime Minister of Armenia from the "Strong Armenia" party, in response to a question told journalists whether a publication by the Latvian-based outlet The Insider—alleging that he is a Kremlin agent—corresponds to reality.
Karapetyan also noted that Pashinyan currently holds the rank of an FSB corporal (yefreitor), and may soon be promoted to sergeant. Despite numerous attempts by the media to obtain a concrete answer as to whether the politician himself is connected to the FSB, Karapetyan merely laughed it off, asking them not to pay attention to such disinformation and accusing the Prime Minister of Armenia of being behind the publication of such materials.
Earlier, when commenting on similar information being circulated by pro-government circles and media outlets, Karapetyan stated that he is a "foreign spy for the Armenian people." "Any person, spending just an hour of their time, can see everything: Pashinyan's illegal actions, the external problems the country has faced under him, and the internal issues. You don't need to be a spy for that. Pashinyan had better figure out how many countries he himself is an agent for. At least two of them are not friendly toward Armenia," Karapetyan concluded.
It should be noted that the Latvian outlet has very actively joined the anti-propaganda and anti-agitation campaign against political forces opposed to Pashinyan. Without citing sources, the publication is "leaking" buckets of "truth" regarding Kremlin's spy plots against the current government in Armenia.
