ArmInfo.Armenian national culinary dished will be officially registered soon, as announced by Sedrak Mamulyan, Chairman of the public organization "Development and Preservation of Armenian Culinary Traditions."
He noted that relevant discussions are currently underway with representatives of the Armenian Ministry of Economy. Emphasizing that Armenian national cuisine holds a leading position in the region, the cilinaey expert noted that it features dishes that can stimulate the development of agriculture and the tourism industry as a whole.
Mamulyan also reported that restaurants are showing increasing interest in national cuisine. "Competition today is at such a level that development is obvious," he emphasized. In turn, Mkhitar Apersyan, head of the Tourism Federation, cited the lack of a coordinated policy involving all stakeholders as one of the key factors hindering the industry's development. "It is necessary to develop a unified vision and establish effective cooperation," he noted.
