Iranian Ambassador, Prosecutor General of Armenia discuss bilateral  issues

ArmInfo.Anna Vardapetyan. Prosecutor General of Armenia, met with Iranian Ambassador Khalil Shirgholami to discuss matters of mutual interest.

As reported to ArmInfo by the press service of the Prosecutor  General's Office of Armenia, discussions during the meeting included  the extradition of wanted persons and the provision of legal  assistance, among other topics. Vardapetyan congratulated the  Ambassador on his appointment to the diplomatic mission and wished  him productive work for the benefit of  both countries' peoples. The  Prosecutor General of Armenia also expressed condolences over the  deaths of Iranian citizens as a result of military action (US and  Israeli strikes - ed.), particularly in relation to the tragedy  involving students of an Iranian school in Minab. 

In turn, the Ambassado recalled the centuries-old close ties between  the two friendly nations, based on mutual trust, and commended the  current level of cooperation between the prosecutors' offices of both  countries.
