ArmInfo. The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia calls on political forces participating in the upcoming parliamentary elections on June 7 to conduct election campaigning within the framework of the country's Electoral Code.
In its statement, the Central Electoral Commission reiterates that administrative resources—consisting of human, financial, and material assets available to individuals holding state and civil service positions—are restricted during the election period due to the control these individuals exercise over personnel, finances, and the allocation of public funds.
"The use of administrative resources in organizing and conducting pre-election campaigning is prohibited for individuals in the civil service, as well as employees of medical organizations, educational institutions, and preschools, while exercising their powers or acting in an official capacity. We once again urge that all campaigning be conducted in accordance with the provisions arising out of the constitutional law of the Electoral Code," the statement reads.
