


ArmInfo. 1.3 hectares of land will be returned to the Byureghavan community in the Kotayk region of Armenia.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia, on June 20, 2025, a lawsuit was filed with the Anti-Corruption Court against the Byureghavan community and individuals demanding the invalidation of 14 land purchase and sale agreements signed on August 10 and 15, 2007.
The Anti-Corruption Court upheld the lawsuit on May 11, 2026. The decision invalidated the purchase and sale agreements for 14 land plots, totaling approximately 1.3 hectares and designated as sites of historical and cultural significance. State registrations of ownership rights to the land plots in the names of individuals were also invalidated.
After the decision comes into force, the plots will be returned to the Byureghavan community.
