


ArmInfo.As a result of investigative measures conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, evidence was obtained indicating that the regional representative of the Strong Armenia party in the Ani community of the Shirak region, along with his close relatives and other individuals, promised and gave election bribes to a number of voters on the condition that they vote for their party in the National Assembly elections to be held on June 7, 2026, as noted in a statement issued by the Committee.
According to the source, the bribery was disguised as payment of salaries to officials or activists in the party's regional branches. Furthermore, an individual acting on behalf of the Strong Armenia party attempted to obstruct the free exercise of suffrage by intimidating voters with the consequences of disobeying a demand made on behalf of individuals in high-ranking positions within the criminal hierarchy.
The Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia has officially initiated a criminal case regarding this incident. Several individuals are detained and, searches have been conducted. The procedural actions are ongoing.
