ArmInfo. There are no wealthy people or wealthy businessmen in the Reformist Party, as stated by Vahan Babayan, the second candidate on the Reformist electoral list, at a press conference.
He noted that the party is running in the elections under the slogan "Security and Development." "We chose this slogan because we believe neither peace nor war are eternal concepts. Without a serious security system in place, sustainable peace is impossible," Babayan stated.
Babayan emphasized that the party's list of 83 candidates deliberately excludes wealthy businessmen and "oligarchs." Instead, the roster is comprised of party leadership, supporters, and citizens from various social backgrounds." " We are going to the National Assembly to protect the rights and interests of our ordinary people. We have our own campaign tactics and strategy; we have chosen the path of personal contacts with people because our candidate for prime minister, Vagharshak Harutyunyan, has held high positions, including military, political, and diplomatic.
Our meetings will take place on the streets, in the regions, and in the communities of Yerevan. It is vital that the people understand Harutyunyan's biography and the specific program he is proposing through direct conversation," Babayan noted.
Over the next 10 days, the Reformist Party will visit all Yerevan administrative districts before expanding their campaign to rural towns and villages across Armenia.
