


ArmInfo.At an extraordinary session on May 7, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Armenia declared the registration of three candidates for the National Assembly invalid.
According to the press service of the Commission, under the Electoral Code, candidates for parliament have the right to withdraw their candidacy no later than 10 days before election day (by 6:00 PM), as well as after election day, provided they submit the relevant application. The withdrawal application must be notarized, or the candidate must confirm their application in person during a session of the Central Electoral Commission.
The Central Election Commission received applications to withdraw the candidacies of Armen Pambukhchyan and Armen Grigoryan, candidates included in the electoral list of the Civil Contract party, and David Petrosyan, a candidate included in the electoral list of the Against All party.
